DVD not reading disc

Have just backed up a movie using DVD Shrink (re author) and tried it in DVD & get message This type of disc cannot be played Please insert another disc.
The disc will play on another DVD & also on the computer.Have used DVD-R and also have backed up 20 others using same type & brand with no problem.Only difference this time is that it is the first time have used re author.Any ideas please
