how did you back up fifa 2005??
im trying to back up a copy of fifa 2005
however i cannot seem to get it to work.
i have tried nero and dvd DVD Decrypter
but neither option has worked.
i have a neo 2.2 chip and use an action reply disc
along with devil may cry to boot.
can anyone advise how they backed up there copy?

I used DVD Decrypter lso read, write.
ritek dvd-r.
boots ok, cutsceens slow at times.
Found out today that you need to PATCH the dnas for it to work flawlessly.
will give it a try 2moro and see what happens

I also backed up with DVD Dycrypter.
Iso read.
Iso write.
I did use a DNAS patch. My game works perfectly!!
I love this game.

can iso images be burned successfully via networked computers.
because i have a notebook computer with lots of harddrive space but i have the burner on another computer.

I also backed up using decrypter. Burnt onto ritek go4 at x1. Disk is really slow to respond. What and where is this patch thing. PLease help.

OK, I assume that by saying DNAS patch leeborn meant using a programs such as Disc Id Insertor.
What that does is makes it so you can play your copied game online.
I'm not sure why patching this would make the game load faster though.
I never tried without patching the DNAS.. but all i know is my game loads very well. And plays very well.
Any questions just ask.

Could be the case but im not sure.
All my games are Patched with DNAS. My madden 05' works perfect.
Check your burn speed also.

it has links and instructions. Its a bit of work. NB. I recommend using Disc ID Inserter, theres a bit more work to do than if you use the Image Patcher, but my fifa 2005 backup only worked doing the patch via Disc ID Inserter. Good luck ! feel free to ask any ques. if youre stuck :)

Suddenly everyone wants 2 patch their games lol.
I usually patch all my online gamez and they work without any problems.
Fifa05 is the only game I didnt patch and itz slow/skips alot, so patchin the DNAS in Fifa should fix this annoying problem!
DNAS patchin should fix other online games aswell like Madden05, THUG2, Burnout3 that are slow loadin.
If youve been havin probs with online gamez...Patch em!

Edmond, youre not meant to publish codes here, I hope you know that.... big NO NO!
opefully its a valid code(a code you get off another backup is freakin useless!) I also hope you did it exactly the way it describes on ps2nfo's site... please note that doing it with image patcher(which is quick and easy) wont work !!!! You need to extract the DNAS file using isobuster, code it with Disc ID Inserter and then re insert the patched version using winimage.. I did this and it works PERFECTLY(after having tried a straight copy via alcohol and DVD Decrypter - which did NOT work)

You guys got it covered!!
Another thing for anyone patching the DNAS. You can take the Disc ID from any of your online games and use it for your backup. It does not need to be from the original.
ESPN games are the only exception.. i havnt got one of those to work online yet.

Jus patched Fifa05...works a treat! No more skips or slowdowns!
It was the Dnas after all.

when i load the game up in iso buster
i cannot see any DNAS files
anyone know why?
i did try to patch the iso using image patcher
how ever this did not work,(as stated above)
i unpatched this iso file and tried to patch with
Disc ID Insertor V2.01 however i cannot see any DNAS files

Dont listen 2 smoske unless U want a backup thatz slow and skips alot lol.
YOU need 2 patch FIFA OR it wont work properly.
Even if u dont want 2 play online u still need to DnAs patch it!

i got a disc id but it comes like this 00 00 00 00 XX now i dnt fink that is right. I have made 3 coasters now! Want to know how to sort it. Followed the patching the file and all that but still dont work. Used image pathcher, didnt work and used disc id insertor n still didnt work. please help.

And smoske no need to swear man, its against the rulez! The mods will flame u if u do it again.
So UR saiyin you backed up FIFA05 without DnAs patchin and it works perfectly lol.

leeborn, its cool you got it working :)
the dnaXX.img whould be in the .iso if you have made that iso from an original.
a valid disc ID coan only be taken off an orginal disc. I have heard it is possible to use different IDs for different games, but since you are making a backup of an original, you might as well just use the disc ID of the original to make sure you dont have any probs.
as for record max making a perfectly working rip. I might try it out one day, however I do intend to play some games online eventually, so am making patched backups anyway.
