Someone wrote to me that he was able to fix the black screen after the ps2 logo by adjusting the angle of his ps2. Anyone knows how?

i have this problem with gta5, mortal kombat deception,berserk jap and splinter cell pandora tommorrow.

I'm the one who wrote to you. It is important that you mark the original location with a marker on the white little gear relative to something. Only do this if you are having problems with a majority of your backups (dvds wouldn't read in my situation). Try cleaning the lens before doing this. If only one or two games don't work, then it is probably something else. My PS2 would only play backups if they were less than a gig. It's pretty easy though, take cover off, eject game, turn off, adjust, put cover on, repeat till good. Just don't turn on with cover off and look at the laser or that might be the last thing you see. HOpe this helps.

before you adjust the laser mortal kombat,splinter cell pt and the new gta have caused problems for quite a few forum users, what boot method are you using

also, some of them (not sure which one) have a hole in the gear, try positioning that toward the left (against the pin thingy) that should be close to where it needs to be (i've fixed these things so many times)

I have a moded ps2 that should boot these game automatically. I dont understand why would some game boot and some don't. I burning them the same way using the same media.

Did this just start happening or was it always some games yes, some no? Did they all work before or is it just these three games.

it just that some game i was able to burn fine and those i mention i had no success with.
