Are RiData g05 media recommended for ps2 backups? I have a SCPH-50001 ps2...not sure wat version that is

not really. a lot of people have problems with 8x media and their ps2's.

8x doesnt work well. Actually I tried it already and it didnt boot up at all on my ps2. My version is the one with Grand Turismo

I just bought some G05 dvd's from fleabay before I read this thread. Did I just waste my money? I tried TDK dvd's with my fliptop and they don't work, they even make a weird noise.
