Hello,

I am in the process of trying to burn some film from my camcorder to DVD. I hooked up the camcorder to the dvd recorder. After the transfer was complete, I went to finalize the disk and half way through it said, "Cannot play back disk, finalization incomplete."

The dvd recorder manual says to to only use media that display DVD on the box.

Could this be the reason the recorder will not complete the finalization process? If not, the only other thing I can think of is that certain media does not work with all recorders.

So this popped up when you was halfway through finalising?
What dvd recorder is it?
