Hi there
I'm new to this and im looking for some HELP!!!!!!!

When i burn a movie onto a DVD the surround sound doesnt work on my surround system thats hooked up to the TV and Dvd player.

What do i need to do to get this working ?
Is it a burning issue or something else im doing wrong ?

Any ideas would be great

Is this with every film you do or just one?
What software are you using?

Email me if I don`t reply to a previously answered post. I`m probably fishing :)

Well, it is probably your encoding that is causing the loss of sync.

Good ones are TMPGEnc, and CCE............

Your sound issue will more than likely be down to the fact that your source is either in mono, or more than likely stereo and not 6 channels.............

Can you do AVI with them

I tried TMPGE once but could never figure it out so i never worried about it anymore.
If you all think thats the way to do them then ill try again.

What would you use to convert AVI files to VOB files ?

Thanks Again
