I want to buy swap magic with the slide tool. I'm not sure where to buy it, does anyone have any suggestions? I have a couple websites, but im not sure if they're good. I also want to know if i can buy swap magic in any stores?

Don't pay that amount. It's the disc that you're paying for and be carefull, I bought a set only to find that the magic swap 3.0 cd don't work with my ps2 (version 9) I believe the dvd 2.0 works on all versions, but i don't know as much as I think.
The slide is fantastic when you're reading about it, but when you get it you think, did I just pay for that piece of plastic?????
I have'nt got a flip top but I can imagine they're a whole lot simpler to use and alot less pain in the arse,, especially if you need to use dvdloader or cdloader to make thew backup's work.
But that's just my opinion, they both work by all accounts.

Oh, and where to get them??
Many places sell the Magic Swap discs, but if you read above this, you may find a Magic Swap 3.0 CD Version Europe Build disc going cheap on a popular auction site in the next day or so.
(Hope that doesn't get me in trouble with the powers that be?)

I live in the U.S.A, and the swap magic cost $29.99. I need the swap magic USA version. Now i dont know if i should get the flip top because it requires installation, i'd rather get the slide card. Unless the slide card is a big hassle. I dont know. I have my PS2 in a shelf, and i dont know if i could access it every time i want to play a game. But if the slide card isnt worth the money, or is too much work, then maybe the flip top would be good. Im not sure where to get the fliptop and the discs if i live in the USA. Oh, and i have a version 7 PS2, i got it in 2003, and it can play DVD-RW's.

erm if i were u i would get the flip top..
slid card u could make at home its a rip off.
to fit the flip top its very easy only needs one wire removing then replacing and it will void the warrenty but who cares there £80 new.
flip tops are cool make sure you get one that aint a tacky plastic and make sure you get the right version cover lol

you dont NEED a modchip
you could use swapmagic and a slidecard or swapmagic and a flip top
or even hdadvance

Hey guys my bro uses the decrypter shit and it works perfect.... so i dont know the fuss and shit ANYWAY im getting my flip top thing in (i hope) 2-5 days....
i just ordered it yesterday morning

yer it may work perfect for your brother but not every one uses the same media the same dvd rewriter and not everyone has the same version ps2 so thats why some peple have trouble backing up

ok well i just found out that he uses this.....
he uses decrypter for the iso image thhing then he takes that and burns it on the Nero 6 and it worked so i will say taht that way is also pretty good and it dont matter what version u got it will still play the dvd+r some dont play dvd-r so dont get that
