Interesting!
Well here is my question.
You realize that the settings you show under the "Data type settings" is only for CD. Unless Im lost. Anyways when you change the stuff you said, then go to "burn image file" then browse to the PS2 image that is on the HD. You press next and sir NO WHERE do you have the option to choose the Playstation2 data type. So ummm how is this suppose to work then??
If I am missing something, then please let me know.

Dude, the datatype setting will appear in the bottem left corner when you select the image and click next. Just set the datatype to Playstation2 and your good to go.

Stoan I've just read your tutorial and think you may have solved my problems. Ive been burning with alcohol at 2x using Ritek media and have been getting bad results (skipping, freezing, etc.). I have one question for you though when your in alcohol and you click on "Copy Wizard" if you don't have a disc in the drive at the bottom left of the window it gives you the option of selecting the datatype, though when you have a disc in the drive it doesn't. Does alcohol automatically recognise the format of the disc in the drive?

hey i see on the second image you have the option burn speed at maximum ..
burn speed should be as low as possible 1 or 2speed
some games may work at 4x depending on media but it ill make your laser die sooner than you expect.also burning at 4x makes the games take far longer to load.

I already went to general and did what this guide said. Then in the left pane I selected Image burning wizard, and get the first screen I posted.
I get the option to select the data setting when its a CD, but not DVD.
Sean, Im aware of the speed, I was just taking screen shots.
