I have a version 4 ps2. I'm ordering a flip top and swipe magic cds versions 3. Here's my question.
Will DVD+R's work at all?
What type of brand has the most sucess?

I think only dvd-r's work on that version but you should burn a video and try it with the + and see,, most people say ritek go4 are the best

DVD+'s do work, i made a copy of my grand theft auto : sa, and it ran like a charm on my ps2.

i would say with a v4 ps2 you have about a 50/50 chance of dvd+r working

I have a v4 and tried +r media on a fluke and mine supports it. I have found +r media will backup games that I originally had numerous problems with using -r media. You'll never know unless you try, but I wouldn't buy a 100 pack until I tried though.
