I'm sure this question has been asked many of times, but I will ask it again.

I use the purple back DVD+R's. They never playback on PS2. Do the silverbacks? I have used various ones, and it doesn't seem to matter which purple back i use.
This is simply just to play movies, but I would like to back up my games as well.

you probably have a PS2 that does not play +R's, not all of them do...sometimes it depends on the version PS2 you have, other times it's just luck of the draw.....try -R's, they seem to work pretty much all the time
