linkink my PBL to boot Evo-x?

Well I am hacking my friends xbox, he had a focus chip so I had to use PBL 1.4. I have never worked with 1.4 so I dont know how to use it. I moved the font hacks into place, then the PBL files in {with a working EEPROM key I believe} and I also put Evo-x on his XBOX C:\. When I boot his XBOX now I get the text PBL loading screen and it says loading bios, then it just goes to a black screen? I think I need to link it so it starts up Evo-x when it finishes loading the bios, but how?
