Hello brothers.

I was wondering if there was some media out there without the blueish color on the burning side. If you look at an 'original' DVD you see it has a silverish color. I was looking for some media that would look as close to the original as possible, meaning I would also be interested in it being printable.

Factory DVDs are pressed using a silver or gold metallic reflective layer which must be pressed, not burned which is why you're not finding burnable media that uses a dye other than purple or blue :)

Does that mean that I could make my burnable DVD's 'silverish' after the data is burned into them?

Not if you want them to play :)

... If you don't want your discs to have that beautiful purpleish-blue color on them, you need to find some media manufactured by Mitsui ... They use a PhthaloCyanine dye which is a pale goldish color ... I really don't understand why the dye color presents a problem ... Of course unless you're bootlegging ...
