gta san andreas messed up intro and loads but no game

I tried to back up gta s.a and using decrypter and maxell dvd-r's writing at the speed of 1x using swap magic disc on v7. The game loads after smd but the r star intro messes up it gets jittery and choppy audio and the intro hardly plays but then I try to play the game at the gta load up screen the little bar goes all the way to the end but it just stays there and the game never loads. I read on other post that people are playiing back ups on this game but I can't even get there. Please help me ahhhhhhhah! I made three coasters 2 wit decrypter and one wit sonic dvd.

Might actually be your media...I'm almost sure that Sonic isn't "premium" media. Maxell's aren't that great either...depends on who made them....try buying other media....go on the dvd-r media forum to read more about media....
