I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but there are 109 pages in this forum and the search didn't bring up any results that were helpful!
Can anyone reccomend a program for backing up PS2 DVD's / CD's for use with a mod chip?
Also a quick guide to the best settings would be greatly appreciated.
Plus in my reading I noticed something about a DISC ID Utiliy, do I need to bother with that when using a mod chip? And what of this DNAS protection stuff?
where can I get the util from?
One final thing which will save everyone alot of time, is there any difference when backing up a game for use with a mod chip than when backing it up for use with a HD loader or swap magic style device?
use DVD Decrypter in mode-iso-read, mode-iso-write.
Dnas is used on online games, you must patch your backup with the dnas id off the original: http://ps2nfo.com/on-line.html
yes i agree with Sly use DVD Decrypter and don't worrie about the DISC ID Utiliy and DNAS protection unless your going to want to play the burnt games online, and if your going to play them online then there is a little more u have to do then just burning the disk...
