Xbox games wont save?

i have a modded xbox with xenium v2 m8 bios that has that i patched to use my 200 gb hard drive which is locked. my emulator games save but it says game save failed when i play xbox games? anyone know whats happening. is it from patching the bios or something?

i worked out that games sves that were on the hdd when i did the upgrade wont let me resave but if i make a new profile in games it lets me save why cant i use my old ones i dont want to have ot start again
