If you already have iso files of games and don't need to rip anything else, do you need evox and a chip for the xbox to be able to play the games from the isos?

You need to have a different bios that m$, mainly the ones that have been H@cked into and changed to allow it to play those games but once you have that then yes you can play .iso (making sure that they are an xiso).
