No solder mod chip help....

i installed no solder modchip v4 on my v4 ps2. and also bought the swap magic disc.

I burned a .iso dvd image to a DVD-r at 4x... and i tried loading it and it wont work.

1. When i press and hold the eject button for 2 seconds, the reset light changes, but all i get is a few beeps and nothing happens, the tray does NOT open.

2. i tried just opening the tray regularly by only pressing the eject button, then inserting the DVD-r copy of the game... and pressed X, but a RED outline came on the swap magic screen and it didnt work.

i used alchohol 120 to burn DVD, and the .iso image was about 4.3gbs big... my media suports 4.7gbs.

do u think that i have a MALFUNCTIONING no solder mod chip? or what? thx

and what could i do to solve this problem?

this happens me to. I recon the whole no solder mod chip is a dud because I havent heard about anyone who has got it to work.

I used one for almost a year and had no problems, i used version 1.9 gameshark and a devil may cry 2 demo to boot with, never used swap disk, I had the messiah chip already when it came out.
