I've been using an LG dvd burner to make copies of movies etc.

I use ritek dvd-r's and now i've noticed new dual layer media and dual layered drives. My question to anyone out there is can I burn movies using my LG burner or do I need to purchase a dual layer burner to do this?

Also, b/c of the nature of movies, usually they are 6 or 7 gb and you have to shrink or take the menu out, with dual layered does this mean that the whole movie, menus, movie itself and deleted scenes can all be burnt with no shrinking needed?

The answers are Yes.

Yes you need a DL burner to burn DL discs (and a lot of $$$$ as the discs are about $10.00ea.

And Yes, the whole DVD. Extras and all with no compression :) Kweel, Huh ?

Do you know any good places that sell cheap DL discs?

Is Ritek the best DL disc out there?

Which DL burner would you recommend?

Is it the same procedure as using DVD Shrink and then using Nero the same way I've been doing for DVD-R's?
