I'm trying to make DVD'S of my VHS movie library & am having many difficulties.My PC is an Intel 1 Ghz with 176 RAM,12 gigs free space on 38 gig hard drive.I've managed to get the movie onto my hard drive using ATI TV Wonder.They appear to be in MPEG 1 format with no decryption (i'm not sure) & was told they would have to be converted to MPEG 2 format.I used TMPGEnc Plus to re-encode them,then i used TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to put them in another file.(PS was also told this was required??)I burnt the file onto DVD+R media with BENQ DW1620 (which is supposed to support that media)using 1 Click DVD Copy.The result was a DVD disc with excellent video but the sound was out of synch.Can any of you fellow burners help?
