Hi All,

I deal with DVD as author and duplicator daily...recently I've gottin a odd call from a client indicating the DVD-R we had duplicated did not play in all of his DVD players. Can anyone tell me why? Our company has had DVD projects and no has complained about our DVD's from playing.

I think DVD-R's are only compatible with ruffly 80% of players.

thanks for the reply...the client give us a new master and we burned the DVD the same with the same machine but slowed down the writing speed. The new duplications he got from us worked 100%. I'm assuming know it was his master that went south...

Probably it was not the Masters but the fact that you recorded it at a slower speed that helped solve the problem.
