I finally got one game to work and it was a cdr backup, i used sm then the v7 all loader disc, then the game, and it worked. when i try it for a dvd backup no luck, invalid. should i try another type of dvd r(currently tried memorex dvd-r 4x / dvd+r 4x and tdk dvd+r 4x) or try dvd decryptor.. (i have too many coasters)
hmm try DVD-R, PS2 versions below 7 can have trouble reading DVD+R. I know as I have a PS2 V5/6 & 25 DVD+R doing nothing.
But if you get dvd-r try Ritek G04.
First go to www.swapmagicfix.com, there it will tell you if you game needs a fix. If it's not in the list then you should be fine. On that site you will be looking at the V1-6 fix.
Then to Rip n burn, DVD Decrypter mode>iso>read to rip it then mode>iso>write to burn it to disc.
Sorry if that sounded hey it's easy, as I know you can backup CD games.
And to point out, San Andreas should work. I have a backup of San Andreas on DVD-R.
