i have a question? I'M ON Step 2 - Image Dumping

Once that i have selected the CD-Unit that I want to use for reading (my CD-Writer), and after selecting 'Safedisc' option and clicking 'Start Disc Dump' i then gave the image file a name and pressed 'Save' to start the extraction. The problem is whenever I place my main cd into my CD-Writer to make a copy of Tthe image of my Sims 2 disk 1, Discdump continously says Duse Reading sector: 2560 Status: Recovering: ERROR (0% 41kB/sec). Start sector:0; end sector 332999. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
