Hey I have got a CD bruner which is called Sony CD-RW CRX175A1 and I was wondering if I could some how get this to play DVD's because when i click on advanced in the control panel for the player it comes up with
Device type: DVD/CD ROM drives. When I insert a blank DVD+R disk in or a DVD-RW disk it just makes a funny noise and ejects. Is there anyway I can keep the Disk in there without it ejecting or is there any way i can burn those disks to DVD with my bruner? /...

if it is stricly a CDRW drive, then there is no possible way it can read or write DVDs. DVDs require a laser with a finer wavelength, which CD drives don't have.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
