Modded PS2 will not play backup DVD's only backup CD's

Hi all!!

I have a neo12 chip installed inside my V10 PS2. I installed it myself with a buddy. The installation of the chip seems perfect!!

I copied some of my PS1 games and these work great in the PS2. However, when I try to copy my PS2 games they will not play in the PS2.

I put them in and it goes to the "Browser" / "System COnfig" page.
If I press browser it reads
"Disc Read Error"

I have tried everything. I have burned the games on two different makes of DVD, I have written all my images at 1x speed. I am just wondering if this is a common problem, or is my chip not installed correctly?

What media do u use??? It looks like ur chip is installed incorrectly.

I use 4.7GB / 120min DVD+R

Do you think it sounds like the chip is not in right?

Datawrite 4x
Verbatim 4x
Phillips 8x

Wrote all DVD's at 1x speed using DVDDecrypter and also used Record Now on a few
