Can I burn the data for a pc game on to a cd-r disc?

I downloaded a pc game onto my computer and converted the files from their bin format. The next step , i installed the new files on my virtual cd-rom mounted files. I don't know the next step. When i try to run the program it asks for the game disc to be put into the cd drive. but i don't have the disc only the info i downloaded. Any help with the next step. I don't have a dvd burner.....can i still get this thing working
