Hey i am getting a DVD burner for Christmas and I want to be able to burn DVD's and play them on my PS2. What type of burning software would i need, what type of burner would i need and what type of blank disk would i need. Also could i have the DVD to play on my PC as well as my PS2? Is that possible? Do i have to have swap magic and a swipe card because i really cant get one. if you could run me through the process that would be great.

dvd decrypter, ritek or verbatim -r media, no you cant play ps2 games on your computer, YES you need swap magic and a fliptop/slide card or modchip to play burnt games.

burnt dvd movies, on the other hand, don't require any mods to play on your computer or ps2.
