I just move to NV, brought my dw-u14a. Somewhere the between NY and NV I lost the disk. Been looking all over the web, to no avail. Can anyone help me with this problem.

what disks? Isn't your drive a Sony OEM drive?

I need the software that can with the external drive, So I can burn dvd's. XP Pro reconize it but when you go to my computer it comes up as a cd drive.Also none of the dvd burning software see it as a dvd drive. I appreciate whatever help you can give me. I paid a $175.00 brand new had it 1 year now it is just a paper weight.
