I think there is really only one thing that we can know with absolute certanty: there will be a sequel to halo 2. It may not be called halo 3. It may be called halo 2 2 sort of like FF 10 2. Either way it most likely will not come out for at least a year. Though i doubt it will be much longer.
A posibility it may be used as the first game promotor for the next xbox. I heard though that the next xbox is just going to be a hard drive up grade for the original. I only read about the first 6 or 8 pages so sorry if i copied anyone.

Back to that whole Ark thing. I got the impression that the Forrunner ship was the ark. I may have been listening wrong, but for some reason that is what I thought.
Just a theory: What if the Ark is a ship which some of the Forrunners used to survive the rings? Ya Know the ark in the bible is used to survive the flood, so what if the Ark in Halo 2 is used the same way?

Yes, Noah's ark did allow him to survive the flood.
That is a really good idea. The only problem is, the flood isn't Halo's weapon. So, if you find the Ark, activate it...Yeah, the ark will protect you from the flood, but what if it won't protect you from the Halo's main weapon (the one that destroys all life)?
...So do all who live to see such times, but that is not up to them to decide. All we have to decide, is what to do with the time that is given to us.

ok, to set one thing straight, halo 2 could have been split into 2 games, it is possible if they couldnt fit it on 1 disc, now on the other hand, if it WAS split because they couldn't fit it on one disc why didn't they just make it a 2 disc game? it seems to me that no one can awenser that just yet. And, infohalo2, infohalo stoped posting a while ago when he left the message in greek, and we all remeber what that said and it was something like "... Halo 3 before March '05, your friend, infohalo..." or something along those lines. now infohalo2 now your saying that you have inside info about halo 3 and ur sayin that everyone else that says info bout halo 3 is a faggot or sumthin, now look at it from our point of view, we dont know if your telling the truth any more than anybody else here, so stop calling people faggots or idiots or whatever, unless you want to be called that 2 ok?

timrock i have heard that people were asking that same question when they were making halo 2, "could we go into multiplayer and play the enimies or the covanent",if the rumor that halo 2 was split to make halo 3,then i i doubt it oculd happen unless they completly redid the multyplayer,or somthing like that

but the thing is,is that if they DID split up halo 2 to make halo 3,they would have to make new multi-maps and some guy who works at bunige or somthin sayd that they took 2 maps from halo 2 and put it in halo 3,kinda like what they did with Coagulation and Beaver creak in halo 2.so if they had to do all those options and multiplayer stuff,then maybe they could do that,but then they would have to make new caraitics for the enemy...so ya lol

That trailer is just the e3 2003 trailer! They have even taken bits put of that trailer on the new mobassa level on halo 2. I completly agree with everyones thought of halo 3's sudden arrival. just dontt fill our screens with crap, k?
