Does anyone know a site/tutorial that will show you in depth and step by step with detail on how to get to the motherboard of the PS2 without killing it? Thanks.

Don't know of any such site, but they are easy enough to get to as long as you take your time and be gentle with it.

Well that doesn't really help me get to the mobo now does it, if anyone can give me a step by step "tutorial" in this thread I would appreciate it very much.

http://www.chipzone.com is a great site with many tutorials/walkthroughs for wiring diagrams, operating instructions, PS2 disassembling step-by-step, etc. I used it when I installed my chip, and got'r'done!
