Is the media technology has been break through ?

- I see that people get less and less toasted DVD media while burnning even with the "get away" brand media such as Princo or store brand media.
- Some of new brand media now very stable such as Prodisc and .....(you can name few).
- We can have more stable media brand to choose from not just: TY, Mitsui, Verbatim and Ritek as before.
- I saw many media brand that can be burnned at 12X speed, but most of the burner HW on the market is 8X/less, so the media speed seem goes faster than bunrner speed.
