i backed up gtasa and it plays fine loads ok no disk errors there is sound but it is black and white i assume this is because it is ntsc i have a pal ps2 and swapmagic 3 how can i fix this if at all?

no i had the ps2 setup on a portable tv and it was black and white
so setup ps2 in living rom and it work ok

its because the portable tv doesnt support ntsc as the other does. you can patch the game to pal to make it work on the portable or buy a gold plated scart leadfor your ps2. Hope that helps!

yea mate thanks i know but at first i thought it was the dodgey backup.you can also get a RGB scart lead with a rca block you no the ones with the svideo half way down the wire
i have a daewoo widescreen television and i use the svideo lead to plug it in no scart

im going to burn colin mcrae 05 in a minute i burned it once before and it loads and gets to the codemasters logo and stays there becuz i burned it too quickly in dvd decypter i set it to burn at 1x went out and cmae back checked the log and it burned at 4x far to fast so im going to reburn it at 2x in Nero on a lite-on dvd-r that i got with my burner i belive its really a RITEKG04 with liteons name on it.

yes that guna be cool should beat any xbox release
as the xbox was almost pushed to its limits with the older releases in places this isnt much better graphically
