lol dude that dont't make no sense patching a dvd w/o making a new copy. Yes sure unless your DVD is RW, otherwise it will be impossible to do so.

i dont have a dvd writer is there any other way i can patch the games, i tried patching n copying i tto the hdd n running it with hdadvance but hdadvance blocks the network adapter,i got socom online with hdadvance y does it block the network adapter for other games.

Well I was hoping there is a way to burn it onto the DVD that has the game on it already... But if you guys say theres no way then i guess i got to reburn the games... Thanks for the info...

1) Load the Swap Magic CD version 3.0 or 3.2 inthe Ps2 console
2) use slide card or fliptop to swap it for the DiscID Utility
3) Press X
4) Let the program run, then press Eject to get the disc out
5) Insert the original PS2 game in the drive
6) Press X to get the ID
7) Copy everything down and don't post those ids online (or u r a retarded lol)

funny to say that yuo have HDAdvance, swap magic DVD n CD, but you dont' have money to buy that game. BUt anyway, if you want to go all the way to the playing back up side, I suggest you to buy a DVD Writer. With only 70 dollars or less, you can buy a great one on Ebay. I bought one and it works great for only 65 bucks.

well, i can tell you why you can't play it online, because if you have a mod in your ps2, it won't play online, even with a normal game, ever again, unless you take out the mod. with a swap disc, its because the game is burned.

rusty u oviously one of those peoples who knows nuthin about ps2 but thinks he does u actually can play wit a mod chip online if playin of a orginal game i can turn my meshsia chip off or have a few shots at dnas test and it will pass same wit magic swap disc that should work online wit orginal games to cuz u dont even have to uses with an orignal game and for as for backups as long as there patched wit another online dnas it will pass that test regardless of wether ur chip is turned on or not atleast mine does cuz i can play ghost recon online with the backup of my orginal. jus bout everything can be patched for online accept socom us navy seals II i hear pplz say it cant be ne way no matter wat u do but then other pplz say yeah ya can jus do the normal steps hmmmm

u still can play original ps2 games online with the mod chip turned off, just not playing online w/the back up when the mod chip is turned on.
i'd rather stick w/ swap magic dvd.

Was this for me? if it was thn ill let u know tht i dont have the orignal hd advance nor do i have swap magic cd or dvd lol
