I backed up a couple of my PS2 games a while back. One of the discs I backed up had been damaged but when I tried to make a new copy using the files on my HDD my (chipped) ps2 does not recognise the disc. Is thier anyway of burning the files in a way that the ps2 would recognise?

Its starting to seem awful complicated. I have downloaded a few games (that I own) some come as images and others come in this format> its a pain waiting days to download a 4GB file only to find you can do nothing with it!

complicated yes. why i have an internal chip as compared to these fliptop convertable hotswappin timing is everything bagle makers that everyone here seems to have. i could learn to do what you need done, but frankly at this point it isnt my job. you must read, or maybe google up a good ps2 chat. i know for a near fact that the answers are in these links...
