try starting over again following these steps:

step 1
On xbox goto system utils > settings > network

step 2
change settings to
setup network : yes
use static IP : yes
ip : 192.168.0.3
subnetmask : 255.255.255.0
default gateway : 192.168.0.1
DNS 0.0.0.0
DNS 0.0.0.0

STEP 3
on your PC
WIN 95/98/me
right click *my network places* select *properties* then double click *internet protocol (TCP/IP)* then select *use following ip address*
WIN XP
right click *my network places* select *properties* then right click *local area connection* select *properties* then double click *internet protocol (TCP/IP)* then select *use following ip address*

step 4
now insert following
IP address : 192.168.0.1
Subnetmask : 255.255.255.0
default gateway : 192.168.0.1

when you have done this confirm all windows and restart your pc if necessary

step 5
connect your network cable (crossover if direct pc > xbox)

step 6
start flash fxp
make a new connection
insert following
IP 192.168.0.3
USERNAME : xbox
PASSWORD : xbox (if still default)
click connect

** crossover cable should look the same at both ends except the greens and oranges should be reversed.

cheers

3. What is flash fxp?
is it a software for my pc? so it can "talk" with the xbox. Where can i get it?

in response 2 your questions:
1. yes
2. a crossover cable looks like a cat5 cable (rj45), just go 2 your local electronic store and ask 4 a crossover cable, mine cost me $7NZL for 3m. Also if u compare the ends of a crossover cable youll notice that the wires are different colours, this is not so with a normal cat5 cable.
3. FlashFXP is ftp software used 2 transfer files among computers/networks (in this case xbox 2 pc), you can find it at filemirrors.com

if ur xbox isnt modded find sum1 in your area 2 mod it,
u dont know what your missing out on.

Hi everyone,

I'd like to get some help from you please.

I have a Xbox v 1.0 with the chip installed by a profesional 2 year ago ( with Enigmah Final Chip )I can play a copy Xbox game OK .

Now I want to copy xbox games myself..I'm following all the guides on this Site, Specially "Iggi" guide here , but after a week frustrating I still can't connect my Xbox to Pc using FTP, here is my info:

- I using USB DSL modem , Crossover cable, Ethernet/NIC card , PC ( 1.7 Gh , 512 Ram ) connection., Xbox with EvoX 3935 running

Here my Evox.ini:
setup network : yes
use static IP : yes
Xbox IP : 192.168.0.3
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway : 192.168.0.1
DNS 0.0.0.0
DNS 0.0.0.0

In my network & FlashFXP I did Exactly what you said,
IP Address : 192.168.0.1
FlashFXP : 192.168.0.3

When I connect to Xbox , I check the network Status : it says Connected ( but I can only see the Pakets sent but no receive. Ex : sent 2450 , received 0 )and nothing appears in FlashFXP Screen. ( always have error messages "connection failed , lost".

My EvoX run OK in xbox.
I did try to Flash my Bios with Evox but can not , error message :" unwritable bios ".

Oh, Do I need to Flash my Bios with Evox ? , because I still can play a Copy games so I guess I dont need to do that , right?

Every time I connect PC to Xbox my Internet Speed kind a slow about 50%.

Please give me some advices, I dont know what I did wrong here.
Thank you for your help !!!
