hi all. ive downloaded some films on my pc and i want to burn them onto a dvdr so i can watch them on my tv through my dvd player but i dont know how to i was told to use roxio easy cd creator 6 which i tried but no luck but to be honest i dident really know what i was doing so any help in layman terms would be great

Your downloads are probably in AVI format and need converted to proper dvd format. Try this guide for starters and see if it helps.

The encoding time has a lot to do with processor speed, memory, drive speed, etc. But it still is a long involved process. Glad you got it figured out.
