MGS3 DNAS problem

Hi to all :)
I just patched the ID of my MGS3 back up and burned it but everytime i try to go online with it, it just goes back to the red window that says "please insert ps2 disc blah blah blah..."
The same thing happened with my backup of Call of duty too...
So any ideas of what is going on??
I dont think is the game cause two different games are doing the same thing....

It's not really an online mode I think. My friend has it and he says the online counterpart is just used for download content. As for the answer to dark chaos's question, I think maybe the games themselves might not even work with the ID patcher. Some games don't work unless you have tried many ways like I did for actually gettting Smackdown vs Raw online. In the end I guess the game itself won't go online (it is a dvd rip back up)
