I DID USE A DVD+RW AND IT DID WORK!!!! I CAN VIEW ON MY COMPUTER AND MY DVD PLAYER.
BUT Why Didn't DVD+R work????
SEE MY ENTIRE DILEMMA BELOW - I and other people want to know!.................................
I downloaded the following:
Decrypter newest version
Shrinker newest version
and NERO Smart Start (newest version I believe)
I decrypted and I shrunk my friend?s DVD movie to my hard drive .....and now I want to burn to be able to PLAY in my brand new DVD player and on My laptop.
I got this message after following directions for Using Nero to burn. I am using DVD-R.
"Sorry, your compilation cannot be written on this kind of disc. Please insert a disc of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make it compatible with the current disk.
Disc required for the compilation: DVD+R/RW
Disc type in the recorder (Empty) [/COLOR=red]
WELL NOW I just bought DVD+R media?..
I was Using "Nero" UNDER the CLASSIC Nero mode WITH my NEW DVD+R media.
Now the problem is..... I get a message on my laptop screen stating that I must insert a REWRITABLE DVD.
I have used DVD-R
I have now just used DVD+R
Why would I have to use a DVD+RW??????

I have READ everything about dvd burning, etc.... on this site. NOthing is working.
Just want to add my laptop is BRAND new HP zt3350us, the DVD?s are BRAND NEW so everything should be compatible
How can I just simply copy my VOB/etc... DVD movie files to my DVD-R.
I'm Pulling MY hair out!!!! Aghhhhhhhh!!!!
