I have fitted a swap magic flip top to my PS2(model no SCPH-30003) and have trouble with slow loading and disc read errors when i load and play back up games. I am currently using DVD+R discs, should i be using DVD-R instead ? Straight after burning a game it seems to work ok for a while but then deteriats within days, i have tried cleaning the disc and laser and even tried adjusting the hight of the laser with no difference,

I would suggest using dvd-r. Preferrably Ritek. They are cheap and very good.

I use Sonic now though cause I can get 100 for $23 from www.shop4tech.com

If you decide to get some from there, get the 1-2x. They are really 4x and a few bucks cheaper.
