hi people!hope someone can help me with this problem.
downloaded rome total war and now have this folder with: 2 cue files of 1kb each
2 bin files720mb&600mb
1 mdf 665mb
1 mds 3kb
can you please tell me what i must do to get this working!do i have to burn the three large files and what do i do with the small ones?

the two cue files go with the bin files, and the mds file goes with the mdf file. I know you can burn the mds file with Alcohol 120%. Make sure that the mdf file is in the same folder as the mds file when you go to burn the image. Same as burning the cue files.
This must be a cd-based game then?

thanx for the peply!it is a 3 cd based game.
i tried to mount them with daemon,but i get an error.
when i burn each file i select the large file and the burner automaticaly burns the small one also???hope u understan!sorta new to this.

actually, when burning images like that, you are supposed to chose the little files to burn. The little files are sort of like instructions for how to burn the bigger files. So, choose the little file to burn, and this will burn your big file for you.

Also, i'm not sure how multi-cd games will work with backups. Because when you need to switch cd's, you might need to use SwapMagic to do so, so i wouldn't think that it would work properly. But, I've never tried, so who knows.

back again!
just burnt the two bin with Nero,everything ok
now the problem now is that after burning the mdf with alcohol 120(it said burn succesfull)windows niether my cd rom play the cd!
anyone know what the problem is?

yeah you need to get Magic Iso and make the 1st disk using that program. However i went through the same thing you are currently going through and am having all types of installation problems. if i can be of anymore help let me know.
ps the directions for magic iso are on their website unfortunately im not exactly sure what it is. good luck

sorted every thing out thanx!
the problem was that after installing alcohol 120
it put a virtual rom on the pc!
but every thing ok now.
