Hi,
I recently bought a slide tool and the swap magic disks and have been trying to make some backups of my ps2 games. So far I have tried 7 times on numerous games only to get 4 that work.
I am using the Verbatim 4x DVD-R, are they good enough quality?
I am using DVD decryptor which everyone on here seems to suggest but still keep getting the red/pink border on the edge of my screen when i try to load the games: Toca Race Driver, LOTR The Two Towers and State of Emergency.
I have looked on SwapMagicFix.com and theses games dont need any extra stuff. My DVD burner has always worked perfectly in the past and I think its pretty good quality so Im fairly sure it isnt that.
Any Suggestions?

Ok,
1. Turn on Ps2, press eject button, insert swap magic DVD disc.
2. Wait until it says insert disc then slide the slide tool to the right to open the drive a bit.
3. Pull the drive out with my fingers - not eject button.
4. Put in my backup and push the drive back in.
5. Use the slide tool to slide to the right.
6. Hook the end of the slide tool and pull to the left so the drive closes.
7. Press x.
It works on some of my backups but not others???

try cleaning your disc. red/pink border can also mean disc read error. if that doesnt work burn them again

Thanks.
I am just trying that Alcohol program to see if that makes a difference but I will try re-burining and cleaning my discs.
What is this CD Loader and how do I use it? Do I have to use it in conjunction with my swap magic? Do I just burn it to a disc - if so a cd or a dvd?? Im really confused about this.
Thanks in advance.

I think my swap magic cd is bust...it isnt loading up at all now.
What is the difference between cd loader and dvd loader, if i burn dvd loader to a dvd-r will that help to boot my games or do i still need CD loader.
Also If I burn CD Loader to a dvd-r will that work?

cd loader and dvd loader are the same program, just edited a little so you can burn to cd (for cd loader) or dvd (for dvd loader).
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero
