First of all, I AM against piracy, but I'm also extremely annoyed at Sony for not letting me have a NTSC version of Formula One games available in Europe. So I wonder if there's a way for me to back up a PAL version of the game (which I will buy from Amazon.UK if things go right!), and somehow make it work in my NTSC PS2. I also have read in some sites that in order to not use chips or swaps one can edit some hex code that contains the dics check instructions. Perhaps doing that before burning the back up would be better. So any advise would be appreciated.

In order to play import games, you need a chip or flip top/slide card.
