What exactly is the lead in when burning a DVD? Every time I go to burn a DVD I get this error message..

I/O Error!

Device: [1:0:0 Sony DVD RW Dru-700a

Interpretation: Check condition

Interpretation: Write Error


Please ANYONE help me.. I'm using Ritek media so it's not the media! Please someone.. thanx in advance

i have the same problem when i updated my dvdrw firmware because i kept burning coasters.. then i had to rollback firmware because i got that same error
