Just burn all the files directly on a dvd-r/+r using Nero or somthing and it should work.

that is most likely a region error, meaning that you have a NTSC or PAL tv and are using the wrong video format....i dont know how to fix it sry
PS2 version. 5/6
Lite-on LDW-411S
Ritek G04 from shop4tech.com (not imitation fake riteks)
Swap Magic DVD 3.3/CD 3.3

You need to download a PAL to NTSC patch. This will allow you to play the game on your console.

I just downloaded the GT4 demo(sick of waiting and I wanna play the demo >.<) from there...I got a ISO, I try burning it, but I get a burn failure. Should I extract the files then burn them to a disc? I've never done this with PS2 games. I'm clueless =\

CLONE DVD!!!!!1st problem
The Best thing to use is dvd Decripter w/e you call it and also if u can burn at a lower speed, do as for the driver there is pretty much no problem there.

check out this topic to learn how to patch from PAL to NTSC.

By the way, if you have an iso file, burning it with CloneDVD is fine. I do it all the time. I usually make the iso with DVD Decrypter and burn the iso with CloneDVD.

Ok i still dont understand this patch business.
well first of all im backing up "" need for speed underground 2. well i finished it using DVD Decrypter on 4x speed. And i used dvd r +r disk. everything burned ok but when i tried to play it the screen was black and white like someone said earlier about it looking like an old movie. on my tv it was like that and the screen was moving up and down also. i thought maybe there was something wrong and went to use my sisters tv and the screen stop moving but the color was still grey and white.
Just to let people know my tv is a toshiba
and my sis's is a Panasonic
so if any one can help me by telling me what to do and what my tvs are

sighs, does anyone know about pal/ntsc these days???
If your using tv's that aren't newer then around 5years or cheap ones, you will be under either NTSC or PAL. And if you try the opposite(example PAL for the USA) you will have the flashing screen and black and white, as the color format's etc for the two arwe different.
There are simple patching programs to patch from one to the other, yet they don't always work.
The simplest method is to only use what your ps2's is.
