not fully burning the full cd/dvd

i have tried reloading both dvd shrink and nero, and also changing the media i use, but still when i try to burn a movie it goes through the burn process, ejects the dvd and when i put it into the dvd player i
get no disc on my dvd player

Will it play on your PC. What format are you burning +/or - R and the format on your stand alone. Get some RW disks to get the hang of burning, it will save you cash on the coasters.

it will not read on anything pc or dvd. i am using the
+R.
I have been burning perfectly fine for the past 2-3 months with out 1 problem. now when i look at the bottom of the dvd it looks like it only went from the inside out to about 1/4" from the outside edge.
all the ones that burnt fine look like it goes through the whole dvd

Have you changed media? Bought new discs?
Have you installed any new software on your PC?
Does it do this for all movies or just this one?

half way through the verbatim pack it started this, i went out and purchased a different brand of discs same problem. have not loaded anything new since adding the DVD Shrink and Nero. and it burnt probally 50 or so dvd's before this started to happen
