Ok. From those who are expierenced with the whole burnindg process. I am curious about the best hardware. There is alot of posts here on software and that won't be a problem researching. Anyway, next semester i will be in a co-op program with school and will have 4 months around work to kill some time so I am going to invest in a PS2/modchip/dvd burner etc.

My highest priority is value. I dont went to spend an arm and a leg on everything, however i don't want horrible quality. So first priority value, second priority quality. I am wondering for ps2 burning purposes what is the best version of ps2 to buy, what is the cheapest modchip to buy while still good quality, and most importantly whats the cheapest dvd burner burner to buy that will be good? Thanks in advance for all your hardware knowledge and replies.

Addition:

Or maybe not getting a modchip at all if thats a better/acceptable option.
