can any body tell me whick one is better, 'cause I was told that mod chips over time can make some problems to the play station?
Is that true?

let me just give you my opinion:

1: fliptop plus the swap magic cd = $40-$50.
2: easy to install yourself
3: haven't had a single problem with my fliptop.

Mod chips are better in my opinion, i havent had a problem in the 2 years i have had mine. Easier to use too.

first off flip top over chips any time. em there special cases with the mormal disk tray but also with a flip on the top of it, like the ones on a ps1, www.ps2fliptop.net to buy and for pics! :)
