socom 2 region problem?

when i go to use the ps2NFO image patcher on socom II...the region comes up as SPLA and i live in us and it should be slus like always so whts up and its a straight copy from my collection not a download.

WTF is a ps2NFO image patcher? and the US region is SCUS, Check above the DVD Rom logo and it should say what the regon is.

i know all tht NTSC = scus i know tht image patcher says it is in spla which makes no sense, even tho it does work i just wondered if anybody knew
