+R copy would play on my Panasonic DMR E80H (-R) dvd Recorder

my friend gave a copy of a movie burned in a +R Riadata disk and when I tried playing it on my panasionc dvd (-R)recorder it played. So, I tried using the same programs,verisions of the progs.,latop (we both have Dell 8600)and +R Riadata disk and the result was my panasonic can read his but it can't read my copy. Actually, he made me two copies and they both work on my panasonic and mine don't.any idea?

If media and hardware is all the same then you are not doing something the same as your friend. What proggys are you using?
Try having your friend walk you threw step by step what he/she is doing and follow him/her exactly.
