G05 are -R and burn up to 8x. I jsut got a 50 pack from all media outlet. These are the true branded disks (not jsut the hub but the top of the disk isn't blank) like the G04's used to be. I haven't burned any PS2 gmaes with them yet. I haven't got a new game yet. SHould get one monday or tuesday.

Like I've said I've had no problem with the G04's for movies. They all burn fine. No coasters and no compatability problems either. The only problem I've had is using them for PS2 backups.

I just installed DVD Identifier and was checkin out some ID's, Office Depot branded discs have a RITEKG04 id, and the manufacturer name is Ritek Corp. I guess I'll give it a try for a PS2 backup.
