It sounds like there is nothing wrong with your copies, just your DVD Player. You can pick them up pretty cheap at Walmart I bought this one for my daughter http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=2484198&cat=95987&type=19&dept=3944&path=0%3A3944%3A62055%3A95987#long_descr and it plays anything I throw in it, and its only $39. Again if the disk's work in other players and the PS2 then I would say the problem is with your player, and I would suspect that even non-printable DVD's will stop working in your player as the media gets newer also.
Thanks again man, my player is like 4 months old, it is just weird that they play all riteks but the non-printables, is the media made that much different?
It actually is, and even more so when you go from 4x to 8x and so on. That is why there is a need to flash the firmware on DVD RW so much lately. One of these manufacturers of DVD players should come out with a way to flash there player's. It shouldnt be that hard to do??

Several companies already has firmware upgrades available for download on their websites. Off the top of my head I can recall Philips and Kiss Technology, but there are probably plenty of others. Others might do a firmware upgrade for you, but only if you send it to one of their service centers.
I don't think it will ever be possible for the ultra-cheap players from China, as they aren't likely to have flash roms.
